G-Plans review summary

G-Plans combines online clinical assessment with nutrition and account tools. Its policies distinguish membership refunds from non-refundable medication and medical expenses. A complete current quote and pharmacy assignment are still necessary for a reliable lowest-cost comparison.

Service characteristics

  • Reviewing separate platform and clinical-service responsibilities
  • Comparing membership-refund terms with prescription-cost exposure

Limitations / exclusions

  • Not a verified lowest-price entry without the full quote
  • Membership refund rights do not cover every medical expense

What this G-Plans review covers

This review covers G-Plans’ prescription weight-management service, rather than scoring every meal, supplement or nutrition-app product under its name. We reviewed public sources on September 17, 2026. We did not buy a plan, complete an intake or test the clinical service. Our focus is the practical purchase: who provides care, which charges recur and what the refund promise actually covers.

Service model & eligibility

Business model

Subscription-based prescription weight-management services with platform, medical and medication charges distinguished in the policies.

Services
  • Online assessment
  • Independent clinician consultations
  • Prescription coordination
  • Nutrition guidance and tracking tools
  • Ongoing support
Advertised conditions / use cases
  • Weight management
Programs / services
  • Clinician-assessed prescription weight-management programs
Care / service model

Online intake and independent clinician assessment, followed by prescription coordination when appropriate and ongoing support.

Consultation method

OpenLoop consent describes video, telephone and asynchronous consultations.

Eligibility / exclusions

Clinical and serviced-location requirements apply; the exact prescription-program age and state criteria were not independently confirmed.

Lab testing

Consent permits laboratory coordination and outside lab billing; no universal included GLP-1 testing panel was verified.

The platform is separate from the medical practice

The telehealth consent identifies OpenLoop Healthcare Partners, PC and affiliated practices. It describes video, telephone and asynchronous consultations, with prescription decisions controlled by the clinician. The site’s marketing shorthand should therefore not be read as G-Plans itself being the prescribing professional.

The weight-loss page describes online assessment, ongoing clinical support, nutrition guidance and progress tools. These establish the intended service model, not independently measured response times or treatment results. A quiz completion is not a guaranteed prescription.

Pricing & payment

Starting price

Complete current medication-specific checkout and renewal price not established from the reviewed public pages.

Consultation fee

Medical fees are distinguished from membership for refund purposes; the selected invoice controls the amount.

Membership / subscription price

Recurring membership is described, but a current referral-specific amount was not verified.

Medication pricing

Selected product, supply period and care charges require a complete quote. No unverified introductory price is presented as an ongoing all-in cost.

Insurance

Terms describe direct-pay platform services with possible third-party benefits and prior-authorization support for prescriptions; approval is not guaranteed.

HSA / FSA

Payment eligibility for the selected plan was not independently confirmed.

Payment methods
  • Direct-pay plans and recurring card charges
  • Prescription insurance-support pathway described, without guaranteed coverage

What needs to be included in a G-Plans cost comparison

The public pages reviewed did not establish a complete current medication-specific price for our referral offer. We therefore do not present an older membership promotion as today’s all-in GLP-1 cost. The medications page describes subscription inclusions, but a selected plan’s actual invoice is still needed to establish the total.

Cost componentWhat the documents establishWhat remains plan-specific
MembershipRecurring platform charges and a membership guarantee are described.Initial amount, promotional period and renewal amount.
Clinical services and medicationThese are distinct categories for refunds, even when collected with other charges.Selected prescription, supply period and the complete invoice.
Shipping or processingTerms allow applicable fees and offer-specific shipping promotions.Whether the chosen offer includes them.

The comparison rule is simple: a single payment does not necessarily mean every component has the same cancellation or refund rights. Record the charge breakdown, the billing interval and the next collection date before comparing it with a medication-inclusive competitor.

Medications & fulfillment

Medications
  • Ozempic and Zepbound: listed branded pathways
  • Compounded GLP-1-related options: formulation and availability require confirmation for the selected plan
Pharmacy / fulfillment model

The provider describes U.S. licensed-pharmacy fulfillment and patient pharmacy choice. The order-specific dispenser and current credentials were not independently audited.

Shipping / fulfillment

Pharmacy fulfillment follows clinical approval; offer and medication availability affect timing.

Shipping cost

Terms allow applicable shipping and processing fees; offer-specific inclusions need confirmation.

Shipping time

Medications page advertises shipment within 48 hours of approval. This is a dispatch claim, not a tested delivery guarantee.

Medication listings and pharmacy transparency

The medications page names Ozempic and Zepbound and describes other injectable and oral GLP-1-related options. Its pharmacy statements do not identify the actual dispenser for a particular order. We have not independently checked that pharmacy’s license, inspected a compounded preparation or verified every advertised certification.

The consent document explicitly distinguishes compounded products from FDA-approved medications. The review does not treat marketing about shared ingredients as proof of equal effectiveness, interchangeability or approval. The pharmacy-license guide provides a separate process for checking a named dispenser.

Support & policies

Customer support

Phone and website chat; billing policy lists 8am–8pm Eastern every day. Clinical response times were not independently tested.

Support channels
  • (619) 220-9009
  • Website chat

Cancellation policy

Terms direct cancellation at least one day before renewal; appointments have separate cancellation rules.

Refund policy

Membership guarantee excludes medication and medical/provider fees. Processed orders and late appointment cancellations have additional restrictions.

The membership guarantee is not a refund of every expense

Section 8 of the Terms of Use describes refunds of G-Plans membership fees from the preceding six months under its satisfaction guarantee. Medication and provider/medical fees are expressly excluded. That distinction is central: the guarantee does not make all prescription-program spending risk-free.

The separate billing policy restricts refunds once relevant orders or appointments have been processed or scheduled. It also says appointments canceled within 72 hours are non-refundable. Those rules govern different parts of the purchase and should not be replaced by a broad promise that everything is refundable.

Renewal cancellation and appointment cancellation are different

The terms direct subscription cancellation at least one day before the next billing cycle. Billing support is available through the published phone and chat channels. Stopping renewal is different from canceling a booked appointment or reversing a pharmacy order already in progress. Ask for confirmation of which services and future charges the cancellation affects.

Pros

  • Independent clinical partner is identified
  • Membership guarantee has an explicit scope
  • Billing support hours and cancellation routes are published

Cons

  • A complete current referral-specific price was not verified
  • Medication and provider fees are outside the membership guarantee
  • Order-specific pharmacy and licensing still require confirmation

Our editorial assessment

G-Plans has useful public documentation of its clinical partner and membership-refund boundaries. The biggest unresolved comparison items are the full offer-specific price and the assigned pharmacy. We have not ranked it as a lowest-cost option without that quote. Our six-criterion rating assesses documented processes and transparency, not medical effectiveness, safety or a customer-review average. An unverified detail is not proof that a service is absent.

Editorial rating

Calculated from six fixed weighted editorial criteria. How we rate providers

3.2/5
Clinical process & safeguards 25% weight

OpenLoop clinical entities, consent and clinician-controlled prescribing are documented. This is a service-process assessment rather than an audit of clinical outcomes.

3.5/5 3.5
Pricing & transparency 20% weight

Documents identify distinct charge categories and renewal obligations. The exact current full quote remains unverified, so the score does not assess price competitiveness.

3.0/5 3
Access & convenience 15% weight

Remote assessment, app-based administration and pharmacy shipment offer documented convenience. State eligibility and actual delivery timing remain conditional.

3.5/5 3.5
Ongoing support 15% weight

Published phone/chat hours and ongoing care descriptions provide identifiable support routes. Response times and patient experience were not independently tested.

3.5/5 3.5
Medication & fulfillment transparency 15% weight

The pages distinguish compounded and branded products and describe licensed dispensing. The actual pharmacy and supporting credentials were not independently established for this offer.

2.5/5 2.5
Policies & trust 10% weight

A meaningful membership guarantee and detailed refund restrictions are published. Medication/provider exclusions and separate cancellation deadlines limit its scope.
