Ro offers several telehealth services. Here we assess its weight-management membership, not every product sold across the wider platform. We first reviewed public sources on September 17, 2026, and rechecked Ro’s prices, coverage options, terms and customer feedback on October 22, 2026, without enrolling, undergoing a consultation or purchasing medication. Our focus is what someone comparing providers needs to understand about the service and its full cost.

Ro Body enrollment and clinical eligibility
Ro Body begins with a digital medical-history assessment, not an automatic prescription. As described in Ro’s how-it-works guide, a Ro-affiliated healthcare professional reviews eligibility and may require a metabolic blood test. A provider then determines whether a medicine and dose are appropriate. Insurance approval, a payment or a completed questionnaire cannot guarantee a prescription, medical result or delivery date.
Ro’s terms describe up to 24 discrete medical consultations annually, followed by a $15 charge for each additional consultation, as well as possible separate fees for extra labs. Its on-demand messaging feature does not create a 24/7 emergency medical service. We have not completed a patient enrollment or clinically tested the service.

These figures come from Ro’s current pricing page. Its membership announcement also describes three-, six- and twelve-month prepayment options. We have not completed checkout through our affiliate route or established the exact first payment for an individual multi-month selection.
Our comparison framework is care membership + medication + any separately billed services. Comparing only Ro’s introductory membership against another provider’s medication-inclusive charge would understate the total. Comparing the annual equivalent against a cancelable monthly plan would hide a different financial commitment. Neither approach produces a useful like-for-like price ranking.
Current Ro GLP-1 medication pricing by product and dose
Ro’s October 2026 medication price list shows the following cash-pay medication-only prices. The Ro Body membership is additional. Higher doses can cost more, and special offers can expire or require follow-up conditions.

The Foundayo page also notes a 45-day refill-check-in deadline for certain higher-dose manufacturer discounts. These drug prices should never be described as a universal Ro subscription price or a guaranteed future dose. For example, $39 for the first membership month plus a $149 introductory-dose pill is $188 for that example month if the patient is eligible. An ongoing $149 monthly membership plus a separately priced $199 pill dose is $348 for that example month. Neither illustration is an individualized checkout quote.
The published three-, six-, and twelve-month membership equivalents imply $297, $534, and $888 respectively when prepaid, before medication. Confirm in checkout how the $39 introduction interacts with the chosen plan and when later charges occur. Lower monthly equivalents do not mean the patient can pay only that amount and cancel after one month.
Insurance help is a service, not a coverage guarantee
Ro’s insurance page identifies Wegovy pen, Zepbound autoinjector pen and Ozempic as options for its insurance-coordination pathway. The concierge can check benefits and submit prior-authorization paperwork. Medication is billed separately through the pharmacy; insurance does not cover the Body membership. Some other listed products use cash-pay pathways instead.
The practical distinction is between clinical eligibility, insurance approval and obtaining a prescription from a pharmacy. Success at one stage does not guarantee the next. A comparison should therefore record both a cash-pay scenario and an insurance scenario where relevant, rather than presenting the lowest possible copay as a price available to everyone.
Which Ro GLP-1 medications qualify for the free insurance check?
Ro’s free insurance checker currently supports the Wegovy injection pen, Zepbound autoinjector pen and Ozempic pen. It does not currently check insurance for the Wegovy pill, Foundayo pill or Zepbound KwikPen, which the provider promotes as cash-pay choices. A free coverage report is not a free Body membership, free medicine, an approved prior authorization or a guarantee of pharmacy supply.
According to Ro’s insurance FAQ, a patient can ask the clinician to send a suitable prescription to a chosen local pharmacy. However, the prescription downloadable from the Ro account is for reference only and cannot itself be used as a valid pharmacy transfer or fill. Confirm the destination and any insurance or manufacturer savings eligibility before expecting an advertised copay. Ozempic is not approved specifically for weight loss, so any weight-management use is an off-label prescribing decision by the treating professional.

This review does not assume that references to compounded products in older materials establish a current compounded-medication offer. It also does not treat different brands or formulations as clinically interchangeable.
The service overview describes home delivery or pharmacy pickup depending on the medication and payment pathway. For a useful fulfillment comparison, the relevant details are the actual pharmacy, how the prescription is transmitted, the quoted shipping charge and what happens if the prescribed product is unavailable. We have not independently audited an assigned pharmacy or timed a delivery.
Messaging access is not the same as immediate medical care
Ro advertises ongoing messaging, coaching and progress monitoring. Its Body terms specify clinical hours of 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Eastern, Monday–Friday excluding holidays, with messages reviewed within 48 hours or sooner. They also describe 24 included discrete medical consultations per year, then $15 per additional consultation; additional testing can have separate charges.
Those distinctions make the offer more assessable. The ability to send a message at any time should not be described as an always-on emergency service, and unlimited messaging should not silently become a promise of unlimited separately scheduled medical consultations. We score the documented support arrangements, not responsiveness we have not tested.

Stopping medication orders does not automatically cancel membership
The Body terms state that membership can continue billing even when medication is not requested or received. Cancel at least 48 hours before renewal through the account’s Program Details page to avoid the next membership charge. Paid membership fees are generally non-refundable; the introductory ineligibility refund is a separate exception described on the pricing page.
Our assessment separates cancellation of future care access from a pharmacy order or a prepaid purchase already made. Before choosing a longer plan, the relevant question is not only its monthly equivalent, but also the amount due upfront and the refund treatment of unused time. We have not inferred a prorated annual refund.
How to cancel Ro Body membership before the next bill
Ro’s Body terms instruct members to open their secure Ro account, choose the Ro Body Program, open Program Details and select Cancel Subscription. The terms also provide a cancellation contact route. To avoid the next membership fee, Ro requires cancellation at least 48 hours before the next renewal date. Keep the confirmation and your last billing receipt.

The independent Ro Trustpilot profile showed a 3.9 out of 5 TrustScore when checked on October 22, 2026. Positive accounts describe simple onboarding, helpful medical staff or prompt deliveries. Critical accounts mention separate medication and membership charges, billing confusion, cancellation disputes and response-time complaints. This is self-selected feedback across multiple Ro services, not a representative study of Ro Body or proof of treatment outcomes. It also differs from Vital Review’s own documented-service editorial rating.
Before purchasing, save an itemized membership-and-medicine quote that states the chosen dosing price, initial and renewal charges, prepayment length, pharmacy route and deadline for canceling.
