Gala GLP-1 review summary

Gala offers remote GLP-1 care with separate clinician and pharmacy roles. Its $179 headline is tied to a yearly subscription, while another plan has a different commitment. The review focuses on full-cost comparison, pharmacy identification and cancellation rather than an unverified lowest-price claim.

Service characteristics

  • Comparing program inclusions and commitment lengths
  • Remote care administration

Limitations / exclusions

  • Annual headline is not a verified cancelable one-month price
  • Pharmacy assignment still needs order-level confirmation

What this Gala review covers

Gala combines an online weight-management program with account and tracking tools. This review concentrates on the service a customer pays for: the plan commitment, included support, independent clinical assessment and rules for ending a subscription. It does not evaluate weight-loss effectiveness. Public sources were checked on September 17, 2026; we did not enroll, purchase medication or test the support service.

The subscription policy says service and laboratory inclusions vary. A universal included testing panel was not established.

The $179 headline is tied to a yearly subscription

The compounded-program page advertises $179 per month with a yearly subscription, including provider access and shipping. The homepage FAQ separately describes a $199 monthly equivalent for a three-month plan. These are different commitment lengths, not necessarily contradictory prices.

We have not verified the amount collected at checkout, subsequent renewal charge or refund treatment of unused annual time. A monthly equivalent alone cannot establish that the customer pays monthly or can leave after one month without further cost. The relevant comparison is the full agreed term and payment schedule, not only the smallest number on a card.

The separate Ozempic page displays $1,299 per month. That branded prescription pathway should not be blended with the compounded-program price. Likewise, a product labeled coming soon is not counted here as an available treatment.

Medications & fulfillment

Medications
  • Compounded semaglutide: listed option
  • Compounded tirzepatide: listed option
  • Ozempic: separately priced branded option
Pharmacy / fulfillment model

Gala is not the dispensing pharmacy. A partner pharmacy fills an approved prescription; the actual dispenser and current license were not independently verified.

Shipping / fulfillment

Pharmacy fulfillment follows prescription approval; tracking and account features support order administration.

Shipping cost

Free shipping advertised with the compounded program.

Shipping time

No independently verified approval-to-arrival guarantee.

Gala, the clinician and the pharmacy have different roles

Gala’s terms identify AI Coaching Inc. as the platform operator and separate it from medical practice and dispensing. The homepage names OpenLoop-affiliated medical groups within its clinical arrangements. Those disclosures identify who performs the assessment; they do not identify the pharmacy assigned to every prescription.

The reviewed material describes a pharmacy network without establishing the dispenser for this referral offer. That is an order-level verification gap, not proof of an unlicensed pharmacy. Our pharmacy-license guide explains the records to check once the pharmacy is named.

Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. This review does not treat ingredient names or branded-drug study results as independent evidence about a particular compounded preparation. FDA source.

Cancellation policy

Request cancellation through customer service or the account at least 72 hours before billing. Later requests can leave the next charge due.

Refund policy

The policy describes medical-disqualification refunds, but excludes ordinary cancellation refunds and past-cycle refunds. Longer-plan unused-period treatment was not independently confirmed.

Cancellation is different from a refund

The subscription policy requires notice at least 72 hours before billing. Later notice can leave another charge due. Its medical-disqualification exception should not be interpreted as a general satisfaction guarantee: the policy otherwise excludes refunds on cancellation and restricts refunds to the most recent cycle.

For a longer plan, the unanswered question is whether cancellation stops only the next renewal or changes any remaining commitment. That needs the selected enrollment terms. A generic cancel-anytime message does not answer it.

Pros

  • Clinical and platform roles are distinguished
  • Longer-plan condition accompanies the headline price
  • A specific cancellation notice period is published

Cons

  • Initial payment and renewal total were not checkout-verified
  • Ordinary subscription cancellation does not qualify for a refund under the stated policy
  • Order-specific pharmacy and licensing were not independently verified

Our assessment

Gala’s useful disclosures include separate clinical roles, program inclusions and a concrete cancellation deadline. The main comparison limitations are the complete longer-plan payment obligation and order-specific pharmacy identity. Our six-criterion rating assesses documented processes and transparency, not medical safety, clinical results or a customer-review average. Source-check dates do not certify licenses, delivery performance or checkout prices.

Editorial rating

Calculated from six fixed weighted editorial criteria. How we rate providers

3.3/5
Clinical process & safeguards 25% weight

Independent clinician roles, conditional prescribing and alternative consultation methods are documented. This assesses published safeguards, not treatment outcomes or an individual credential audit.

3.5/5 3.5
Pricing & transparency 20% weight

Program inclusions and different commitment lengths are identifiable. The complete initial payment and longer-plan renewal/refund consequences still require an enrollment quote.

3.0/5 3
Access & convenience 15% weight

The site advertises all-state clinician access, remote review and home delivery. Product availability and individual eligibility remain conditional.

4.0/5 4
Ongoing support 15% weight

Care support and account-based order and appointment tools are described. Credit concerns available channels, not independently measured responsiveness.

3.5/5 3.5
Medication & fulfillment transparency 15% weight

Platform, prescription and pharmacy responsibilities are separated, but a specific dispenser for the reviewed offer was not established. Missing verification does not prove a licensing problem.

2.5/5 2.5
Policies & trust 10% weight

The published policy gives a concrete cancellation deadline and refund exclusions. Longer commitments and narrow refund rights limit flexibility and require plan-level clarification.
