The $199 monthly offer includes more than medication

HumeCare’s current program page advertises $199 per month, billed monthly, including medication if prescribed, ongoing care and program access. The service also describes coaching, app-based tracking and body-composition monitoring. The advertised price is a program price, not a guarantee that every medication, formulation or future plan remains at the same amount.

The key distinction is if prescribed: payment does not guarantee approval for a particular GLP-1. The linked Terms of Service assign prescribing decisions to an independent Clinical Network, pharmacy dispensing to independent pharmacy partners, and allow additional charges for certain medication choices with disclosure and consent.

Plan-length distinction: The dedicated GLP-1 page labels its offer $199 per month, billed monthly. Other publicly displayed HumeCare marketing has described a three-month program, and the linked terms permit monthly and prepaid billing intervals. Neither a plan’s monthly equivalent nor a “cancel anytime” headline proves a one-month financial commitment or a refund for unused prepaid time. Verify the actual checkout schedule.

The dedicated program page lists compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, but does not give a verified dose-by-dose cash price for every possible formulation. We therefore do not invent an all-in tirzepatide quote or treat an FDA-registered compounding facility as equivalent to FDA approval of a finished drug.

Delivery timing: Although the homepage advertises next-day delivery, HumeCare’s shipping policy says clinician review typically takes 1–2 business days, pharmacy processing typically 3–5 business days after prescribing, and medication normally ships with two-day delivery. These steps are not an end-to-end next-day guarantee.

HumeCare’s refund promises: six months, 90 days and the actual terms

The current HumeCare homepage advertises a money-back promise tied to losing 10% of body weight within six months. That is marketing language, not a tested outcome. The live Terms of Service reached from the homepage on October 22 did not provide a corresponding six-month guarantee procedure, participation criteria or claim deadline. Do not treat the home-page claim alone as an established right to a refund.

Why the 90-day wording also needs care: An independently retrieved public version of HumeCare’s marketing and Terms mentioned a 90-day results guarantee, with different participation and exclusion language. That 90-day section was not present in the terms we reached through the current homepage during the live browser check. The publicly accessible representations therefore differ; we cannot certify which promotion applies to a particular checkout. We would ask HumeCare to provide the applicable terms, including any exclusions and non-refundable clinical fees, in writing before enrolling.

What the directly linked terms do document: A member whom the independent Clinical Network finds ineligible for any treatment after the initial evaluation is promised a refund of the membership fee for that period within 10 business days. This administrative/clinical-ineligibility refund is separate from either advertised weight-loss-results promise; otherwise fees are generally non-refundable except for stated contractual exceptions and applicable law.

State eligibility: The reviewed GLP-1 program page excludes Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi, while the homepage disclosure lists only Louisiana and Mississippi. Availability is clinician- and state-dependent; these conflicting lists should be confirmed before enrollment.

Who actually provides the care, and what is not verified?

The HumeCare terms identify Hume Health Care LLC as a wellness technology and administrative platform. Prescription and medical decisions are made by an independent licensed Clinical Network; licensed dispensing pharmacies, rather than the HumeCare website itself, compound and ship any prescribed medication. The company describes body-composition scans and app data as engagement and monitoring tools; the terms state device measurements are informational rather than stand-alone diagnostic evidence. We have not independently identified or inspected the dispensing pharmacy for an actual order.

The program page says a BMI of 25 or above may qualify for screening, but it is not a promise of prescribing approval. The medication safety page explains important contraindications and risks. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved finished medicines; as the FDA explains, the agency does not review compounded drugs for premarket safety, effectiveness or quality. This is not an assessment of any individual’s suitability or outcome.

HumeCare reviews: marketing testimonials versus independent evidence

HumeCare’s public pages show testimonials and self-reported weight-loss examples. One program-page note describes an average loss of 13 pounds among a selected set of users but says the highlighted larger results represent the top 25% of self-reported data. Those figures and marketing testimonials should not be read as average results every patient can expect, controlled clinical-trial evidence, or an independent customer rating. We did not enroll, verify the underlying dataset, purchase a prescription, test its coaching, or establish an independent review sample limited to this GLP-1 service.

Before choosing the program, we recommend keeping the actual plan and renewal terms, any written refund-promise conditions, the assigned clinician and pharmacy information, and the medication-specific costs in one place. Readers should also review current third-party feedback without assuming that experiences with Hume’s broader wellness-device business are necessarily experiences with its prescription GLP-1 program.

Our assessment

HumeCare has a clearly presented $199/month GLP-1 offer with clinician evaluation, medication if prescribed, coaching and body-composition tracking. Those features deserve consideration, but the subscription’s true commitment, medication-specific extras, the identity of the dispenser and the conditions for a money-back claim remain important checks. The current homepage’s six-month 10% guarantee and other publicly retrieved 90-day wording do not match the live linked terms we inspected in a way that permits us to verify an unconditional results refund. The published delivery policy is more cautious than next-day marketing.
