What this MEDVi review covers
MEDVi is a consumer telehealth platform, not the pharmacy dispensing every prescription or the medical practice making every prescribing decision. This review focuses on the GLP-1 service: how public prices are presented, who provides care, which pharmacies are named, and the cancellation rules that affect the total commitment.
We reviewed public provider pages and the FDA record on September 17, 2026. We did not enroll, complete a medical consultation, place an order or test medication. Findings describe published service information rather than treatment outcomes or a guarantee of suitability for an individual.
A regulatory record readers should know about
On February 20, 2026, the FDA issued a warning letter to MEDVi, LLC dba MEDVi concerning website content reviewed in December 2025. The agency identified misleading compounded-drug marketing, including labeling imagery that suggested MEDVi was the compounder and claims implying FDA approval or evaluation of compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide products.
This is a documented marketing and misbranding finding. It should not be presented as proof that a particular customer’s medication was contaminated or that every current claim remains unchanged. This review has not established the company’s response or the matter’s subsequent resolution. The letter belongs in the review regardless of our affiliate relationship.
Service model & eligibility
- Business model
Online subscription services with different pricing structures for compounded programs and branded-medication access.
- Services
- Online intake and clinician consultations
- Patient portal and remote support
- Prescription fulfillment coordination
- Advertised conditions / use cases
- Weight management
- Programs / services

Independent medical professionals assess the patient and decide whether to prescribe. MEDVi's terms separate the platform from the clinical provider and dispensing pharmacy.
- Consultation method
Online consultation, electronic information review and remote communication described in the medical-consent and service documents.
- Eligibility / exclusions
Terms require age 18 or older and residence in a U.S. state or territory where service is available. Prescription approval is not guaranteed.
- Lab testing
Laboratory services may be part of a plan; no universal prerequisite or fully inclusive testing schedule was independently confirmed.
Pricing & payment
- Starting price
Current compounded introductory and refill amounts not independently confirmed; the accessible GLP-1 page returned dynamic price placeholders.
- Consultation fee
Compounded-program description includes a physician review; exact charges depend on the selected pathway.
- Membership / subscription price
Branded Wegovy/Zepbound listings show a $99 membership plus medication cost; billing cadence and full total need confirmation. Compounded offers advertise no separate membership fee.
- Medication pricing
No current compounded-program dollar amount recorded as verified. Branded medication cost is additional to the displayed membership figure.
- Insurance
GLP-1 page describes cash-pay prescriptions; possible reimbursement for branded options is not guaranteed.
- HSA / FSA
HSA/FSA use is advertised. Eligibility for a specific expense depends on the account plan; the advertisement is not a tax eligibility determination.
- Payment methods
- Cash-pay model
- HSA/FSA payment advertised; confirm eligibility
Compounded programs and branded programs have different pricing models
The GLP-1 landing page describes an introductory semaglutide program price followed by a refill price. However, the version available in this research pass returned price placeholders rather than readable dollar amounts. We have therefore not treated figures repeated by older reviews or other affiliates as today’s verified MEDVi price.
The same page does display a $99 membership plus medication cost for branded Wegovy and Zepbound options. That is not a $99 all-in medication offer. The exact billing cadence, drug cost, eligibility and any insurance reimbursement need confirmation for the chosen pathway. The broad no-membership-fee message should not be applied to those separately labeled branded plans.
For a comparable quote, the needed figures are the first payment, renewal payment, medication charge, any separate membership fee and the period each payment covers. Until that quote is verified, MEDVi should remain an unpriced entry in a lowest-cost comparison rather than being ranked on an assumed promotional amount.
Medications & fulfillment
- Medications
- Semaglutide compounded program described in the current GLP-1 FAQ
- Compounded GLP-1 tablets advertised; exact product specification to confirm
- Wegovy pill and injection: advertised branded pathways
- Zepbound injection: advertised branded pathway
- Pharmacy / fulfillment model
MEDVi names Triad Rx, RedRock Pharmacy and Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding as partners. The pharmacy assigned to an individual order and current licensing were not independently checked.
- Shipping / fulfillment
Prescription fulfillment is handled by a dispensing pharmacy, separate from the platform.
- Shipping cost
Free shipping advertised on the GLP-1 page.
- Shipping time
Expedited delivery advertised; no independently verified guaranteed delivery window.
Named pharmacy partners improve disclosure, but are not a license audit
The current landing-page disclosure names Triad Rx, RedRock Pharmacy and Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding. This identifies potential fulfillment partners; it does not establish which pharmacy will dispense a particular order. We have not independently rechecked each pharmacy’s licensing, accreditation or authority to ship to every state.
The distinction matters because the platform, clinical practice and dispensing pharmacy perform different roles. MEDVi’s terms expressly state that MEDVi is not licensed to practice medicine and is not acting as a pharmacy. Its telehealth consent addresses care delivered remotely. The provider and pharmacy actually assigned to an order are the entities whose credentials and responsibilities need checking.
The FDA also distinguishes compounded drugs from FDA-approved products and approved generics. A compounded tablet or injection should not be described as an FDA-approved equivalent simply because its marketing mentions an ingredient associated with a branded medicine. Support & policies
- Customer support
24/7 support advertised; clinical and administrative response times were not independently tested.
- Support channels
- hello@medvi.org
- help@medvi.org
- (323) 690-1564 listed in the policy-page contact section
- Patient portal messaging/chat
- Cancellation policy
Request cancellation through hello@medvi.org or patient-portal chat at least 72 hours before the next bill. Later requests can take effect in the following cycle.
- Refund policy
The published policy lists medical-disqualification refunds, an initial 72-hour exception if no services were received, and refunds for unshipped months on multi-month billing; it generally excludes current/prior monthly charges and also contains restrictive no-refund wording. Confirm applicability in writing.
Cancel anytime still has a notice deadline
The cancellation policy requires requests at least 72 hours before the next billing date. A later request can take effect the following cycle instead. Cancellation therefore needs to be evaluated by its effective date, not only by the wording on a promotional banner.
The policy lists narrow refund exceptions, then also uses restrictive general no-refund language. The exceptions summarized in the structured policy fields are not an unconditional money-back promise. We would seek written confirmation of the applicable exception before relying on a refund, particularly for a multi-month purchase.
What ongoing care means in this review
The MEDVi homepage describes a patient portal for progress tracking and provider check-ins, ongoing support, and coaching or dietitian services. Its footnote makes free coaching-related access subject to insurance and copay eligibility. We have not measured response times or verified that every advertised service is included on every plan.
Published availability is different from a tested experience. A support channel being open around the clock does not by itself establish that a prescribing clinician will answer immediately. Likewise, shipping being described as expedited does not establish a guaranteed order-to-delivery time.
Pros
- Terms clearly distinguish the platform from the medical practice and pharmacy
- Current disclosures name pharmacy partners
- A specific advance-cancellation deadline is published
Cons
- Current compounded dollar amounts were unreadable in the accessible page output
- Broad no-membership wording does not apply to separately labeled branded plans
- Refund policy contains exceptions alongside restrictive general language
- FDA issued a February 2026 warning about compounded-drug marketing; subsequent resolution was not established
Our assessment and editorial rating
MEDVi has identifiable corporate terms, a published cancellation deadline and named pharmacy partners. Those are useful building blocks for a service review. The outstanding checks are a readable current compounded-plan price, a pathway-specific full cost, pharmacy verification and the status of the FDA matter. None should be replaced with assumptions drawn from a promotional headline.
Our editorial rating applies the six fixed criteria in our review methodology to the documented service model and public disclosures. Each score has a written reason below, and the overall score is calculated from the published weights. It is not a clinical safety rating, treatment recommendation, customer-review average or test-purchase result. A price that our tools could not read is a research limitation, not proof of hidden charges. The verification date records the source review, not a completed clinical or licensing audit.
